The Workday QA Engineer is a key member of our QTS Business Support Systems (BSS) team. As a Workday QA Engineer, you’ll manage the system testing requirements, test plans, and execution, both manual and automated, related to development and change events for all Workday and other applications, as assigned. This role is unique in that it needs to be able to comprehend the processes that we’re improving and providing the ability to write test cases to support. These test cases will be written in English (not code at this point), and will support our functional teams as they are testing these larger level projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

Development and maintenance of the QTS test suite by BSS application and functional area. Includes maintenance with all releases, both bi-annual Workday releases and all weekly releases.

Development and maintenance of procedures for smoke, regressions, system load, data conversion, unit, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.

Administration of the Kainos Smart testing application for Workday and coordination with Kainos testing support resources.

Development of Kainos test scenarios for new features/functionality or changes to existing test scenarios

Identification and assessment of BSS application change risk and testing requirements for requests for configuration and development projects.

Execution and coordination of BSS application test plans for requests for configuration and development projects (smoke, regression, system load, conversion, etc.).

Maintenance of test execution documentation and related results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
-
Five or more years of QA experience

Five or more years of Workday system testing experience

Background in both Workday Financials and HCM

Prior experience with automated testing

Background in Financial/System Processes/Procurement

Systems Experience: Workday, Salesforce (not heavy on SFDC), Kainos Smart Testing Tool, ServiceNow, Jira, Tableau, Integrations, etc.

US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

The estimated pay range for this role, if based in California, is $71,168.90 to $121,461.60
In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado:
- The estimated pay range of this role, if based in Colorado, is $75,320.42to $128,546.86.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in the company’s commission and equity plan.
