Reporting to the Manager, HRIS, the HRIS Analyst plays a vital role in the administration, support, and continuous optimization of QuadReal’s Workday HRIS system. This role brings critical thinking and problem-solving skills and creates business value through testing and delivering effective system-based solutions. This role is responsible for supporting data administration, testing, maintaining system configuration, ensuring security and data integrity, and functioning as a technical point of contact. The HRIS Analyst is analytical, people-focused, interested in HR and works closely with not only the HRIS team, but the broader HR team and IT Business Analysts. If you are passionate about data and technology, this is an exciting opportunity to join a highly effective and innovative team and company.
Responsibilities

Update and maintain configuration in Workday, create and execute test cases, and validate the integrity and accuracy of business processes, notifications, security roles and reports.

Provide support to both HR and Technical teams by collecting and defining business requirements, recommending process improvements, testing, and implementing system enhancements.

Assist with business process administration including corrections/rescinds, reassigning tasks and managing delegations.

Maintain master data values in Workday (e.g., custom organizations, work locations, etc.)

Provide support and act as a point of contact for users’ issues and questions. Research, troubleshoot and resolve system problems.

Function as an expert for all HR transactions and processes, including advising the HR team, managers, and employees on proper use of the system and best practices.

Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity and consistency; adherence to internal audit processes; data supports corporate and HR policies.

Build, test, and upload Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) – mass data uploads

Support the Manager, HRIS in the successful rollout of Workday’s semi-annual releases. Review release documentation/retired functionality, thoroughly test mandatory features, help identify value-add optional features to add to the HRIS roadmap, and partner with functional teams to ensure they are aware of and understand the updates. Â

Actively participate in the Workday Community, training, and regional user groups to ensure awareness of current trends and innovation

Support communication of system changes, and update HRIS business process documentation and quick guides

Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Workday to support the HR team and business with their reporting & analytics needs.

Support the creation and maintenance of Workday job aids and training videos

Additional responsibilities may include assisting with mapping process flows, documenting test plans, administering system trainingÂ
Qualifications
-
3-5 years HR System Administration or Analyst experience. Workday experience is an asset.

A strong understanding of HR processes, data and reporting needs

Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

Experience in working with confidential and sensitive information, in a professional manner

Bachelor’s degree or quantitative discipline
