Job Function:

Qualcomm’s Global Sales Operations (GSO) team is seeking a self-motivated, highly adaptive, and organized Sales Training Analyst with strong interpersonal and communication skills and prior experience in corporate training, eLearning development, and/or knowledge management.  This individual will work closely with the Global Sales Operations team and various cross-functional teams to assist with the organization, development, and distribution of sales training material.  The individual will use their communication skills and creativity to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other team members to help build and maintain compelling PowerPoint presentations, instructional documents, team websites, and training videos using eLearning tools. The individual will assist in the tracking and reporting of metrics related to training efforts and support GSO Training team administrative activities such as quarterly newsletter coordination, training material audits, and Knowledge-based article management.


  • Work significantly with PowerPoint, helping SMEs to create compelling PowerPoint presentations with a wide distribution
  • Support internal and external training video development including slide creation, animation, and voiceovers in Brainshark and Captivate
  • Utilize solid communication and collaboration skills to work with different teams across the organization to understand new and existing processes, collect necessary process information, assist in training content creation, and work with the Legal department for edits and approvals when needed
  • Act as the coordinator and moderator of live training calls, composing training invites, creating sign-in forms and surveys, recording calls, and uploading them to internal and external sites, creating Knowledge articles for training material, reading questions in the Chat and directing them to SMEs, recording Q&As and posting them after calls
  • Upload SCORM files and manage GSO video training courses in Workday Learning (LMS), including identifying audiences, writing descriptions, running Campaigns to promote the material, and maintaining content
  • Gather, organize, and present metrics data as needed
  • Maintain and continuously improve the internal GSO SharePoint sales training website
  • Understand and communicate ideas clearly using video, PowerPoint, or Word
  • Take pride in the quality of work provided to our customers

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS or AA in Instructional Design, or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with e-Learning, adult online learning, and/or sales training

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience creating training or instructional documentation and/or videos
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems, video or eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.), Adobe InDesign, and/or Salesforce
  • Experience with Qualcomm internal systems
  • 2+ years’ experience with e-Learning, adult online learning, and/or sales training
  • Comfortable communicating and partnering with all levels of management and non-management to achieve project completion
  • Strong skills in MS PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Detail-oriented, organized, deadline driven
  • Strong written and verbal skills, being comfortable writing and reading scripts for training videos, composing communications and/or invitations to training webinars or editing newsletter articles
  • Highly adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing needs and projects
  • Ability and initiative to learn new tools and techniques quickly
  • Experience in the mobile or semiconductor industry
