The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of HR Advisory & People Solutions, we are looking for an experienced Graduate Program Manager to join our team. This is a newly created stand-alone role that will be responsible for the design, creation and implementation of the first Graduate Program for Rabobank Australia. The role will see the incumbent partnering with business stakeholders through the design and implementation of the program, as well as leading the end-to-end recruitment process; from attracting and engaging candidates through to on-boarding and developing our new team members. The role will engage, prepare and guide graduates as they embark on a career with Rabobank Australia.

The Role

The Graduate Program Manager will be instrumental in delivering our growth plans with a specific focus on our early career professionals. The role encompasses both strategic  operational aspects. Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Design an inclusive and structured Graduate program and experience to support development of technical and soft skills across Rabobank.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the business lines, as well as Senior Management to understand Graduate requirements, team structures and Rabobank’s Culture.

  • Managing key relationships with tertiary institutions, university societies, faculty as well as other external stakeholders.

  • Manage the full graduate recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, developing campaigns to generate student leads through various venues; face to face, phone, virtual and on-campus events, hire and retain quality talent.

  • Partner with the Marketing team to design promotional material to assist with advertising, attracting and engaging candidates.

  • Coordinate and participate in the application and selection process by conducting interviews, processing applications with supporting materials and monitoring progress.

  • In partnership with HR teams, support the onboarding of graduates from Day one and throughout the Rotation Program

  • Partner with the business to co-design a learning pathway to ensure continued development of graduates.

  • Monitor Graduate Program success across a number of areas including candidate experience,  engagement, feedback, ROI on our events strategies and performance reviews.

The successful candidate will have the ability to partner with key stakeholders, influence senior leaders, and be highly collaborative. You will thrive on building a comprehensive program with the ability  to work with significant autonomy.

To thrive in this role you will have:

  • Experience in the design and delivery of Graduate programs. Experience within Banking & Financial Services is advantageous.

  • Extensive and broad experience in leading a campus recruitment function.

  • Knowledge of current issues and trends in graduate management education and related admission practices.

  • Experience in design of promotional presentation materials and engaging with and presenting to candidates virtually and in person.

  • Experience with Workday system is beneficial but not essential.

  • Experience using data and analytics to inform strategy and make improvements to hiring and on-boarding.
