We are looking for a candidate who will understand ‘as-is’ end-to-end business/process cycles, possess the ability to act effectively at various levels of detail, work constructively with cross-functional teams and senior management, facilitate problem-solving and decision-making and be actively involved in multiple project activities, such as owning project plans and requirements elicitation.

This successful candidate will act as an internal consultant to global HR stakeholders and be a part of a team of Workday specialists that sit in HRIS and closely partner with Information Technology and Human Resource peer groups. The candidate will be expected to closely collaborate with teammates across the globe and ensure we are maximizing our Workday investment.

Position Details

The Workday Core HCM Operation Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive support and consultation to HR stakeholders, ensuring efficient and high-quality Workday Core Human Capital Management (HCM) operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide support and consultation to HR stakeholders from a Core HCM operation perspective, addressing their needs and ensuring effective use of the Workday Core HCM system.

2. Work with internal stakeholders and business partners to provide valuable solutions that support efficient processes and high-quality user experience.

3. Lead small to mid-sized projects in Core HCM area.

4. Provide support in large projects especially in designing operation, planning/executing testing to contribute to quick stabilization and smooth operation after project go-live.

5. Assess impacts of proposed configuration changes from a Core HCM operation perspective, providing insights and recommendations to maintain system integrity and performance.

Mandatory Qualifications:

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

– Strong project management skills.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, communicating complex technical solutions in simple business friendly terms and building mutually-beneficial relationship between end users and HRIS.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse, fast paced environment.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

Desired Qualifications:

– Proficiency in the Workday Core HCM and Security.

– Language: Business Level English, Fluent Japanese

– Familiarity with HR processes and best practices.
