REA Group is not your average digital business. From humble beginnings in a garage in Melbourne’s east in 1995, we have grown into a leading global digital business, specialising in property.

With bold and ambitious goals, we are changing the way the world experiences property. No matter where you're at on your property journey, we're here to help with every step – whether that's finding or financing your next home.

Our people are the key to our success. At the heart of everything we do, is a thriving culture centred around high performance and care. We are purpose driven and collaborative, which drives innovation and our ability to make a real impact.

Where the team fits in

As the People Systems & Insights Partner, you’ll be bringing subject matter expertise to the way that REA manages our suite of HR technology.  Whilst the role will primarily focus on optimising functionality in our core system (Workday), it will also provide specialist support for our reporting suite, data integrations and security management.  This role will work with a wide range of key stakeholders from the P&C function to support the delivery of cyclical work.

What The Role Is All About

It’s hard to explain a role in just a few points, but here’s a snapshot of some of your key deliverables:

Partnering:

  • Partner with the key stakeholders to understand needs and functional goals as they relate to people systems.

  • Surface upcoming features/changes to be added to the roadmap based on stakeholder needs.

  • Lead/support ongoing organisational & functional initiatives as and where they relate to people systems.

Integrations / New tech:

  • Lead the functional review of new HR applications or modules within the existing environment.

  • Lead the scoping of functional change for new features and/or integrations to support new systems.

  • Oversee data integrations from workday to target systems including payroll, employee survey platforms, other recruitment solutions and any other system as they are implemented.

Cyclical:

  • Contribute to the deployment of the Workday releases as required.

  • Contribute to the management and prioritising of the people systems roadmap.

  • Support the rollout of key cyclical processes (e.g. performance review, remuneration review).

Business As Usual:

  • Investigate and analyse system issues. Recommend, develop, and implement fixes where required.

  • Review changes to user or role-based security, and escalate where required.

  • Support the change management and roll-out of new functionality.

  • Develop reports and dashboards in Workday.

  • Complete necessary UAT and other end-to-end systems validation as required.

  • Follow data governance, documentation standards and change request processes.

  • Liaise with vendors/support partners to resolve issues.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A working knowledge of Workday – relevant certifications are a bonus.

  • Exposure to multiple HR Systems would be an advantage.

  • Strong business engagement and analysis skills.

  • The ability to translate technical constraints into language that is easy to understand.

  • The ability to project manage cyclical pieces of work.
