Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Reliance Matrix is seeking a Workday Consultant that is responsible for implementing and supporting MatrixLink EOI, Billing, Eligibility and Leave Management integrations with our customers.  This is a customer-facing position that interfaces with external Workday professionals to implement ala carte solutions from our MatrixLink portfolio of services.  The Workday Consultant also collaborates with internal cross-functional teams and product owners to guarantee that configurations and customizations are executed efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the design of customer solutions and associated system modifications in Workday pertaining to MatrixLink offerings for EOI, Billing, Eligibility, and Leave Management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product owners to comprehend and execute technology in a manner that aligns with the overall strategy for MatrixLink.

  • Take initiative in proposing and implementing process improvements and creative solutions that enhance business value and attract more customers to our MatrixLink suite of services.

  • Oversee customization of Workday system changes to align with business strategy and processes outlined in a customer's Statement of Work when applicable.

  • Collaborate with functional teams, business partners, leaders, and cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of business strategy and processes and identify ways in which technology delivery can modify, support, or automate those processes.

  • Lead customer projects that require multiple resources, dependencies, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of objectives.

  • Oversee the technical vendor relationships that pertain to the implementation and support of MatrixLink services and their delivery.

  • Provide training to customer HR professionals on essential technology functions, as required.

  • Build and foster partnerships with stakeholders across the enterprise, such as Information Technology and Sales/Service teams to ensure effective cross-functional solutions.

  • Develop documentation for business processes, job aids, training materials, and test plans.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • 5+ years working in a Workday support and configuration capacity.

  • Possess a robust background using touchpoints between modules in Workday and knowledge of the associated downstream cross-functional effects.

  • Proficient in use of Workday Studio for writing custom reports, transformations and configuring integrations.

  • Familiarity with use of BIRT to create transformations such as custom documents and forms.

  • Skilled in guiding customer Workday professionals to proper perform configurations.

  • Experience with integrating externally with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Possesses an understanding of related HR Functions including benefits, enrollment, eligibility, and leave management.

  • Proven project management abilities for managing medium-sized projects.

  • Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated strong customer service or consultancy skills.
