Responsibilities

  • Care deeply about the employee journey, from hire to retire, to build exceptional and innovative experiences.  Use industry and user research, data and analytics, usability testing, and employee surveys to inform design decisions.
  • Contribute to designing and maintaining workforce personas, journey maps, and measures of success to ensure that HR platforms and self-service channels provide effective, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences.
  • Identify areas where self-service can be improved and expanded to reduce friction, increase system adoption, enhance employee satisfaction, and reduce HR transaction support.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and researchers, IT, vendors, and regional HR teams to continuously improve and innovate the HR digital experience using user-centered design processes.
  • Independently recommend and propose solutions to redesign and shape the User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) for HR platforms and self-service tools, including SharePoint and Workday.  Continuously monitor and analyze user behavior, preferences, and feedback to identify opportunities to improve engagement and experience throughout the employee lifecycle. 

Skills & Experience

  • Atleast a Bachelor’s degree A plus: Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, User Experience, Human Centered Computing, Interactive Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). And master’s degree/MBA
  • 4+ years of experience in job offered or related occupations. (In their title as UX Designer)
  • Proven experience utilizing UI/UX tools and user-centered design processes—personas, employee journey mapping, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, A/B Testing, design thinking methodologies, UI/UX best practices, etc.—to create intuitive, simple, and personalized digital experiences.
  • Tool: Miro, Figma, Adobe XD.
  • Strong agile and project management skills with the ability to independently and flexibly prioritize work based on changing organizational needs.
  • HTML and CSS- Basic understanding
  • Experience with designing HR portals, with SharePoint/Workday or knows how to customize CMS extensively.
  • 3 years of Product Management experience
  • Portfolio required.
  • Experience with Workday HCM is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with an innovative mindset focused on simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.
