As a Senior People Advisor, you’ll be part of the People/HR consultative team for our Sleep & Respiratory Care business.  This is an excellent opportunity to grow your HR consultative, employee relations and business partnering skills. Let’s talk about the role: 

 

  • Through strongly developed relationships and a deep understanding of the portfolios you will support, you will become a trusted advisor to our leaders and teams, across a full range of generalist people related topics and areas. 

  • With a clear, thoughtful and flexible communication style, you will enjoy working in an environment with strong diversity of thought and able to partner and influence in challenging and complex situations within a fast-paced environment. 

  • You will play a key role in supporting the execution of our People calendar to the highest standards, which will range from, executing on our engagement survey pre and post activities, supporting learning and development initiatives and enabling our compensation processes. 

  • You will have experience and good working knowledge of Australia (and ideally Singapore) employment legislations and be comfortable developing strategy to navigate low – medium complexity cases and leading on investigations. You will be comfortable partnering with our legal team and seeking counsel as needed. 

  • You will enjoy working with data and leveraging our systems to develop and provide insights that can help support cases for change that will positively impact our people and business. 

  • You will work closely with the People Business Partners (PBP) and take on specific projects to help increase effectiveness in key areas of focus for the portfolios you support 

  • You will work and partner with our Talent Acquisition (TA) Team to support all hiring initiatives, playing an active role in hiring strategy, interviews and ensuring an effective manager and candidate experience in order to attract and retain the best talent.  

  • You will work closely with our People Experience team to ensure they have what they need to provide the best level of timely service to our teams and that all processes from onboarding to offboarding are executed to the highest quality 

 

Let’s talk about you: 

  

Must have skills:  

  • Human Resources generalist experience (including TA, Employee relations (ER), rewards, learning and talent management), ideally in a fast-paced & ambiguous environment. 

  • You stay on top of local employment laws, and legislations. 

  • You have a strong consultative, and customer centric approach in communicating and working with a diverse range of stakeholders. 

  • You thrive on solving problems and are adaptable in responding to changing, and at times, high-pressure situations, with a commitment to results and solutions.  

  • You are an expert in working on low/medium complexity ER/IR matters. 

  • You can work independently but also enjoy working collaboratively on a team. 

  • You possess a high level of attention to detail, effective time management, multitasking, & prioritisation skills. 

  • You have excellent communication skills and enjoy presenting, training/facilitating, influencing, and negotiating thoughtfully. 

  • You have a demonstratable working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint. 

 

Nice to have skills: 

  • HR Professional certification. 

  • Workday System experienced. 

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.
