The Workday Functional Lead (BSA III) will provide global HCM systems support to all HR functions, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, Talent, Learning, TimeTracking, Absence and Payroll. He/She will drive these departments to support the overall RingCentral's business needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an escalation point for critical Workday functional issue resolution
- Provide global day to day HCM systems SME support to all HR modules, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Performance, Talent, Learning, Time Tracking, Absence and Payroll.
- Comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Collaborates with HR and other cross functional teams to analyze business benefits and/or operational efficiencies, map business processes, implement creative and effective solutions.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple teams to ensure effective and timely completion.
- Provide accurate estimates of effort and resources required to complete tasks and projects
- Demonstrate design options using prototyping.
- Perform functional configuration tasks for the HR systems to satisfy requests for reporting, fixes, changes, enhancements and compliance. Perform SIT and solve related issues.
- Work closely with HR staff, business partners and technical teams to capture requirements, design and implement solutions, conduct testing, and work with stakeholders to ensure successful release and adoption.
- Support workday semi-annual releases, impact analysis, recommend new features to further discovery, testing, validation and overall system performance.
- Create process documentation and user guides.
- Ability to build complex Workday Reporting writing and creating Dashboards and Analytics.
- Integrate verification and compliance principles and concepts into all HR Business processes.
- Train and provide support to internal team members, HR professionals and business users.
- Continuous improvement mindset: identify, recommend and improve current systems and processes.
- Provide external and internal auditors system related documentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Human resources, business or related field
- 6+ years of Workday functional experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of WD functional Lead experience in implementation, enhancements and support projects is required
- Expert knowledge in Workday integration tools – Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Calculated Fields, and Report Writer
- Certified in Workday functional modules and Report Writer.
- SME experience with at least 5 HR functional modules.
- Strong expertise in Workday business process configurations, Core HR concepts and Security.
- High proficiency with MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Constant curiosity to find insights in data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with diverse teams across organizational lines and structures
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
- Ability to work independently in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Experience implementing systems in multiple regions, familiar with a global work environment
- Experience across multiple functional areas is desired; specific areas of interest include Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits
