Robert Half, one of FORTUNE’s World’s Most Admired Companies and a Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For is hiring for a Business Systems Analyst II – Workday to join the Corporate Services Financial Business Systems department.
The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for production support and maintenance of our global enterprise applications.
They work with the business, technical staff, department team members, and vendors (Workday and others) to triage and resolve reported production issues/updates. They will work assigned support tickets to gather business requirements, understand business processes, and provide resolutions that align with the business needs.
They support many aspects of delivery inclusive of analysis, requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment and support.
What You’ll Do
- Establish and maintain product and business expertise of assigned areas.
- Respond to all incoming requests in a timely manner, ensuring that all issues/requests logged in the appropriate system and/or resolved.
- Replicate reported issues, document, and initiate/maintain cases with Workday for Workday owned issues.
- Provide elevated support for reported critical Severity 1 issues.
- Perform impact analysis, document, test, and communicate Workday delivered Weekly and Semi-Annual releases.
- Review, analyze business requests, formulating system solutions to meet business objectives.
- Lead requirements definition and documentation by working directly with business partners.
- Work with technical teams as needed to assess impacts to systems and business processes resulting from proposed changes or issues.
- Partner with technical staff and vendors to ensure that the technical components of solutions are understood and properly accounted for (e.g. integrations, extensions, etc.) w/in the overall solution.
- Perform design and configuration efforts related to enterprise applications.
- Lead or support preparation and execution of testing efforts.
- Support deployment and migration efforts.
- Perform ongoing system administration and support for assigned enterprise systems.
- Represents the team in communications with business, IT, training, reporting, leadership and vendors to ensure all groups are informed.
What You’ll Need
- BA /BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience gathering functional requirements, preparing documentation, configuring applications and providing system support of large ERP applications.
- 2+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting the following are required:
- Workday Payroll for US
- Expert knowledge of US Multi State Payroll
- Creation and processing of EIBs
- Postproduction Support and Issue Resolution covering the above areas
- 2+ years of experience with implementing, configuring, and/or supporting the following are preferred:
- Time Tracking
- The “Time-Off” component of Absence
- Expertise/knowledge of Workday Payroll for Canada
- Proficient in Workday Report Writing or similar tool.
- Experience with multi-national organizations and systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of various System Development Life Cycle methodologies (e.g. agile, iterative, waterfall, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple/changing priorities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- An ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Familiarity with project management processes and concepts.
- Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated skills in use of software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheets, etc.
- Aptitude for learning new concepts, applications, and tools.
The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.
$83,000.00 – $122,000.00
