We are looking for a Global Tax & Compliance Expert to join our Poznań office.
Your future team:
In this position, you'll join a global HR-team working and coordinating several international projects and mobility cases, located in a welcoming and modern office environment, where you'll work alongside a diverse group of cross-functional specialists from various countries. You will report to the Section Manager for PE (Permanent Establishment) Projects & Global Mobility who is situated in Denmark. Your day to day contributions will play a crucial role by maintaining a smooth, well-organized and documented way of providing service, while acting as a sparring partner to the business and to the team. Your daily work and success within the position will overall support and benefit the organization, while you will be working within a highly ambitious and supportive work environment.
What will you be doing:
In the role of Global Tax & Compliance Expert, you'll play a crucial part in advising the ROCKWOOL Group in various Global Mobility & PE tax-related tasks.
More specifically:
- Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations for both the company and its posted employees.
- Provide expert advice on mobility and tax implications, permanent establishment, and global mobility best practices.
- Advice on shadow payroll compliance and advise on tax reconciliation for PE projects and global mobility.
- Oversee and coordinate payments for Global Mobility/PE projects, ensuring correct processes with payroll, controlling, and banking teams.
- Manage tax and immigration consultants and other suppliers while handling international mobility cases across the USA, Europe, and Asia.
What you bring:
We imagine that you have a solid experience and a background in tax advisory, permanent establishment, immigration, global mobility or similar fields. Expertise with the PWD (EU – Posted Worker Directive) would be an asset.
The candidate we are looking for has a relevant degree (Law, Human Resources, Accounting or similar) and minimum 7-10 years of experience in a global support/consulting.
We are seeking a candidate who can reflect upon the processes, suggest alternative ways of working, and most importantly, be a team player.
Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Solid experience in national and international personal income tax and social security.
- Expertise in remuneration taxation, tax return preparation, international remuneration planning, and expatriate cost minimization.
- Professional proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook (familiarity with the WorkDay system is a plus).
- A strong service-minded approach.
- Knowledge on compliance with tax and immigration regulations while optimizing cost efficiency for employees working abroad from a realistic point of view.
