Annual Pay Range: $110K – $125K CAD. Pay is dependent upon experience.

Your future team:

Your team consists of two individuals who approach tasks with enthusiasm and efficiency, tackling challenges and driving results. We work together seamlessly to achieve our goals a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

You'll spearhead the development of our payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every step of the way. With your expertise, you'll lead the team through system enhancements, vendor management, and strategic improvements, all while staying abreast of the latest regulations and guidelines.

  • Lead the development of NA payroll services, including process design, team development, and system enhancements.
  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure accurate processing of taxes, deductions, and contributions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Manage the deployment of new tools and systems to optimize payroll processes.
  • Project manage systems upgrades and enhancements.
  • Handle timekeeping and ancillary areas.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of progressive payroll experience in a corporate environment.
  • Dayforce expertise required; Workday experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and procedures.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Experience with Canada and US payroll processing is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of tax rules and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Zendesk is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • CEBS, CBP, or CPP accreditation is a plus.
