Position Summary

About us
The HR Shared Services Centre was established in 2017 and delivers Payroll, Talent Acquisition and HR System Support services for Samsung European subsidiaries.

The Team
Being part of a best-in-class HR Shared Services Centre, you will work together with the leaders of the team in order continuously improve the quality, speed and efficiency of HR operations for Europe.

Role and Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • You will lead a team of professionals that deliver operations of system support on Workday and Samsung internal HR tools functionalities, as well as Reporting services 
  • You will be responsible to drive the day-to-day activities of the team by monitoring workload, allocating tasks, setting priorities and identifying operational risks
  • Ensures, from HR systems perspective, the deployment of HR projects directed by Samsung European Office and Headquarter
  • You will be the person in contact for managing the HR systems enhancements (testing, deployment and communication to Europe stakeholders)
  • You will ensure support to the team members related to complex operational cases and related to tasks prioritization
  • You will be in charge to monitor team’s performance indicators and keep performance to the agreed standards
  • You will be the first point of contact for escalated operational or technical issues and in charge with efficient communication and in time resolution
  • You will be in charge of building and maintaining partnerships with the local HR teams, internal and Headquarter stakeholders
  • Your will be responsible for each team member’s professional development by setting objectives, assessing performance and delivering recurrent feedback for improvement

Skills and Qualifications

What enables you to do a great job:

  • More than 6 years of work experience and at least 2 years of leading a team (people manager role) – mandatory
  • Previous experience of acting in Shared Services industry- mandatory
  • Proficiency in Excel Tool- mandatory
  • Familiarity with HR functions and HRIS- advantage
  • Workday system or other HR systems knowledge- advantage
  • Proficient verbal and written English language skills
  • Strong customer service and operational practices skills
  • Good team coordination abilities
