Senior Benefits Manager – Hybrid

Position Overview

The Senior Benefits Manager will serve as a customer facing resource to facilitate Total Rewards objectives. Support Financial Wellness Benefits Director as needed related to strategic focus for Total Rewards.

This position is a hybrid role – reporting into our corporate headquarters (Dalton, GA) 2-3 days / week.


  • The Financial Wellness Benefits Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage 401(k) Plan funding & critical processes for all retirement plans (U.S. & International)

  • Oversee and facilitate determination for annual Highly Compensated Employee list, Discrimination Testing, and annual Match True-Up for the 401(k) Plan

  • Manage Nonqualified Plans administration, enrollments, distributions, newly eligible initiatives, and annual processes

  • Manage all vendor files (incoming and outgoing); work with HR technology regarding any changes and/or enhancements

  • Manage 401(k) participant education initiatives throughout the year to enhance the offerings in the 401(k) Plan

  • Take proactive role in the management of the retirement vendor’s Financial Wellness program

  • Manage Financial Wellness welfare benefit plans including life and disability, relocation, and executive benefits

  • Manage vendor relationships as assigned

  • Manage international financial wellness benefit plans; work with Payroll Department on international country specific retirement plans

  • Manage Financial Wellness communications throughout the year

  • Manage WorkDay initiatives and administration related to Financial Wellness plans during the year and for annual open enrollment

  • Directly supervise Benefits Administrators (3)

  • Assist with acquisition implementation as needed and project work as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • Eight or more years of experience in the Benefits field preferred

  • Retirement Plan experience strongly preferred

  • College Diploma preferred

  • Familiarity with Federal Legislation related to retirement & welfare plans

  • Experience with reporting and/or analytics

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred, with concentration in retirement plans (RPA)

  • WorkDay experience a plus

  • Financial reporting experience a plus

  • Advanced Excel skills preferred

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
