To support the Director of Finance and the wider finance team to deliver transformational projects and initiatives. The objective of FSTO is to transform the way Finance works and adds value by:

• Re-thinking the role of the traditional finance department

• Identifying new value adding tasks and competencies in line with emerging norms

• Identifying and removing process wastes while seeking opportunities to implement solutions for automation, digitalization and data visualisation

What you will be working on:

  • Lead change from within for the Finance Division

  • Champion and facilitate the implementation of technology driven initiatives (e.g. Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics) to enhance business functionalities and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of satisfaction

  • Oversee project management and planning of various initiatives

  • Identify, communicate and celebrate early wins, and stay resilient when things do not go as planned, with the ability to recover back to a successful path quickly

  • Drive awareness, engagement and commitment of stakeholders on the need to change, what success looks like, with a strong desire to participate in the success of the change

  • Oversee issues arising from the Workday Financial System, collaborate with the central project team on resolutions, enhancements and use of advanced functionalities

  • Support ad-hoc activities as required to support the Finance Division in meeting its commitments

What we are looking for:

Domain knowledge and experience

  • Background in Finance Applications and Processes consulting domain

  • Good understanding of Finance functions, operating models, supporting organization structures, processes and best practices

  • 8 – 10 years of experience in large-scale projects or systems implementation with minimum 3 years of experience in change management, rolling out new initiatives or changes relevant to Finance Transformation

Business Process Re-engineering

  • Certified in and ability to demonstrate experience in using Business Process Re-engineering methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Service Journey, Design Thinking)

  • Able to critically review, map and document existing processes, make recommendations for rationalisation and improvement, and implement them operationally

Project management

  • Sound project management skills, working knowledge in Agile methods

Technical skills

  • Working knowledge of Workday Financials as a functional consultant will be favourable

  • Demonstrates expertise in automation tools (e.g. UiPath), Data Analytics and Visualisation tools (e.g. Python, Tableau)
