Smith+Nephew is hiring HRIS Workday Specialist.
This role provides support and customer service for the HRIS system. The individual will manage support tasks and tickets, requiring a solid understanding of HRIS tools. While in-depth module expertise is not necessary, candidates should be able to assist customers and resolve issues promptly.
This position ensures quick resolutions for inquiries, offers backup support to functional specialists, and may involve participation in business projects. Basic Workday experience and knowledge across multiple modules are required..
What you will be doing?

Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports to support data quality and operational activities.

Lead HRIS support via ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and issues.

Build and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports, standardizing business definitions across teams.

Create and manage Workday self-service reports and dashboards for internal customers.

Train Global Operations/Shared Services on Workday and Power BI self-service reporting.

Support Workday Core-HCM functions across the APAC region and manage project tasks for HRIS updates.
What will you need to be successful?

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years of demonstrable experience in Workday reporting and HCM business processes.

Proficiency in advanced Workday reporting, including matrix reports and calculated fields; experience with worksheets or discovery boards is preferred.

Prior experience supporting HR queries via HRIS/Workday service portals; Workday security knowledge is a plus.

Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global remote team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
