Job Description Summary

The Compensation Analyst will perform complex data management, analysis, and reporting to support a variety of compensation projects and activities. The role contributes to the design, creation, and maintenance of the compensation infrastructure. Acts as a key participant in the development and implementation of the annual salary administration program (merit). Supports the administration of company-wide base-salary and variable compensation programs. Completes competitive benchmarking and analysis. Assists in developing communication materials and presentations. Assists in ensuring compliance with all appropriate federal, state, and local laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally. Provides counseling, advising, educating, and training support to HR Partners, Internal Partners and managers on all compensation policies, programs, and processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a variety of compensation projects, audits, and analyses.
  • Participate in ongoing job code projects and audits to ensure accuracy and alignment with compensation structures.
  • Conduct market job analysis for new requisitions and promotions to ensure competitive compensation offerings.
  • Own and manage the annual salary planning process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a backup to the Benefits Analyst on billing and deduction audits, providing support and resolution as needed.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact work quality or efficiency.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid
  • Must be able to commute into Newton Office 3 days/week

Expected Hours of Work:

  • Standard business hours are expected; however, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation program management or related compensation administration.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms is required; experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Experience implementing or administering compensation management systems and salary planning systems is a plus.
  • Experience in organizations with a large proportion of non-exempt employees is required.

Pay Range

Pay range: $95,000 to $115,000.  Base pay offer may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific/overall experience.
