The Leave Administrator will provide support and oversight of all leave and disability related processes including FMLA, PFMLA, LTD, STD, ADA and Massachusetts state leaves. This position will have a strong focus on Massachusetts state leave administration & will provide support to all colleagues. In addition, the Leave Administrator is responsible for auditing, reporting, reviewing and updating our leave dashboard and providing support and assistance to our payroll department with leave coding and time off plans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide analytic and colleague support on leaves and manage the intersection of leaves and disability issues with PFML, FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, ADA, and other laws, statutes, regulations and system policy
  • Coordinate with HR leadership to ensure legally compliant, best-practice leave and disability policies and procedures
  • Assist in creating educational materials, conducting training for managers, and providing support to our colleagues regarding leave administration.
  • Coordinate with payroll regarding leaves and time off plans.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree 

Three to five (2-5) years of experience managing FMLA, Non-FMLA, ADA, STD and LTD claims preferred.  Experience with Workday a plus.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Working knowledge of Mass Paid Family Leave (PFMLA).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
