HCMS Training Analyst is responsible for building and delivering engaging learning solutions to a diversified audience for our Human Capital Management System as well as other Human Resources applications. The HCMS Training Analyst is to provide end users with HCMS expertise to have a successful Workday journey.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•   Develop a strong understanding of Workday and other Human Resources application as implemented at SLUHN. Â
•   Conduct in person and virtual software training classes for the SLUHN community of workforce members as assigned.
•   Facilitate training and communication of changes, enhancements, and upgrade education by working with the HCMS Team to disseminate prepared and approved materials. Â
•   Demonstrates competency in the curriculum and applications, demonstrating growth, development, and appropriate communication.
•   Identifies and recommends adjustments and updates to learning materials and curriculum as needed. Â
•   Maintains training records in the learning management system (My E-Learning) and IT systems as per guidelines. Â
•   Responds to end users’ needs and develop appropriate technology solutions for teaching and learning. Â
•   Supports the SLUHN community during system activation(s)/go lives, system upgrades, and SLUHN campus/location openings, as needed/as assigned. Â
•   Provides status reports, work product, assignments, and updates for projects/initiatives in a timely manner. Â
•   Provides Level 2 support to SLUHN community for training, proper application use, workflow knowledge & issues.
Physical/Sensory Demands:
Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Â Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Â Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Â Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Â Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design or another related field preferred
Driver's License required
Training and Experience:
•   1-3 years of experience in a formal classroom setting or equivalent environment with excellent classroom facilitation/speaking skills and strong understanding of training methodologyÂ
•   Previous experience providing training with an (HCMS) Human Capital Management System is preferred
•   Strong communication, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills required to work effectively with all levels across the organizationÂ
•   Knowledge of the concepts, standards and practices related to adult learning and educational effectivenessÂ
•   Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for delivering formal and informal training programs and evaluate their effectivenessÂ
•   Ability to express ideas and convey technical information effectively both verbally and written communication.Â
•   Well-developed analytical, organization, and presentation skillsÂ
•   Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamÂ
•   Solid computer skill proficiency and knowledge of business practicesÂ
•   Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the user communityÂ
•   Human Resources background and/or knowledge of Workday terminology and environment a plus ability to read, understands, interpret and apply technical manuals and documentationÂ
