About the Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance and technical support of St Vincent’s Hospital’s HR systems (Chris21 & predominantly UKG) along with the overall support of the People Services department. You will deliver expert technical advice and support for the St Vincent’s Hospital HR Systems through the ongoing training and support of end users.
In this role you will also be required to respond to all customer queries in a timely manner (face to face, telephone, email, in person training and remotely) and apply knowledge of company policies and procedures and problem solving skills to provide a quality response to end users.

Build rapport with NUMs and Head of Unit's and Managers to ensure organisational departments are supported

Provide guidance, training and support (predominantly UKG) end users
Classifications for this position will range from HS3 – HS25 ($74,448.40 – $80,433.60 per annum).

1.LOCAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
The HRIS / Payroll team is responsible for providing pay related services to St Vincent's Public hospital in
Melbourne. This includes paying employees under multiple industrial agreements; processing two
Fortnightly pay runs paid in alternate weeks. The HRIS / Payroll team provide a hybrid working from home and office arrangements.
2.POSITION PURPOSE
The Support Analyst role is primarily responsible for the maintenance and technical support of St
Vincent’s Hospital’s HR systems (Chris21 & predominantly UKG) along with the overall support of the People Services and Payroll department. The Support Analyst role is the primary contact for the UKG Support Inbox. The incumbent will deliver expert technical advice and support for the St Vincent’s Hospital HR Systems through the ongoing training and support of end users.
5. POSITION DUTIES
- ·Ensure the St Vincent’s HR systems (Chris21 & UKG) are maintained and in sync
- ·Building rapport with NUMs and Unit heads to ensure organisational departments are supported
- ·Provide guidance, training and support for (predominantly UKG & Chris21) end users
- ·Respond to all customer queries in a timely manner (face to face, telephone, email, virtual)
- ·Apply knowledge of company policies and procedures and problem solving skills to provide a quality response to end users
- ·Act as a subject matter expert for HRIS and provide solutions to common problems
- ·Running reports and manipulating data to meet business needs
- ·Manage technical changes required to ensure the St Vincent’s Hospital HRIS remains compliant with changing industrial agreements and other legislation.
- ·Management of problems / incidents to ensure users are adequately supported
- ·Contribute to the development and maintenance of processes and procedures
- ·Update and maintain the intranet to ensure information is up to date and correct
- ·Work collaboratively across organisational departments and with key stakeholders
- ·Ensure policies and procedures are documented in accordance with operating procedures
- ·Participate in payroll forums, Kiosk’s and employee education sessions
- ·Check system logs and ensure errors / problems are rectified
- ·Conduct regular data audits to ensure information is correct in all HRIS
- ·Understanding of required EBA’s and assist with basic questions
- ·Provide a high level of customer service to ensure a positive user experience
- ·Key personnel for the UKG Support Inbox
- ·Involvement with HR system upgrades, updates and any new implementation projects
- ·Actively seek out, review and work towards continuous improvement opportunities
- ·Actively and positively contribute to the payroll and systems team
- ·Collaborate and work closely with the payroll, systems and HR teams.
