Job Description

The Technology Division at Success Academy is the chief provider of technology infrastructure, applications services, security, and support. The Division partners with teams across the organization to equip students, teachers, leaders and staff with the innovative technology tools and know-how necessary to achieve academic and operational excellence. 

To support our growth and to continue providing our scholars with an unparalleled educational experience, we have a network office based team of IT professionals who provide network-wide support, resource planning, technology integration, and custom development. Success Academy seeks a Senior Project Manager to partner primarily with our Finance and Human Capital groups to identify and lead opportunities across these functions


The Sr. Project Manager role will be a key contributor to our mission of driving innovation across the organization. Reporting to the Head of Project and Portfolio Management, this role will be responsible for building and managing end-to-end project plans, monitoring and reporting progress, effectively managing scope and dependencies, proactively mitigating risks, ensuring that the projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality specification . This role will be part of a highly collaborative team of professionals with a wide range of skills including business analysis, and project management.

As a Senior Project Manager working with the Finance and Human Capital teams, you will be responsible for planning, executing and maintaining a portfolio of projects to support our Enterprise goals and growth.


  • Conduct and manage the governance of the Finance and Human Capital portfolio of requests / projects.

  • Manage the selection, implementation and maintenance of a new ERP solution for Finance

  • Acts as project lead, managing cross-functional teams with responsibilities for project schedule and performance. Gather and document business requirements.

  • Communicate regularly and effectively with project stakeholders

  • Determine objectives, set priorities, and manage the iterative development process.

  • Ensure that business outcomes are defined, approved, and delivered. Be responsible for benefits realization, and ensure that benefits are delivered in the best way possible

  • Utilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.Manage the ongoing support and resolution of bugs and issues, and document changes as appropriate.

  • Build and maintain a Portfolio roadmap and align with appropriate stakeholders.

  • Preparing affected business areas for transition to new way of working; potentially implementing new business processes


  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, information systems) or related experience.

  • 5+ years experience as a project manager.

  • Experience working with ERP platforms (Finance, Human Capital).

  • Excitement, energy, and strong people skills including excellent communication capabilities at all levels.

  • Strong customer service and business analysis skills, with a focus on working with a diverse group of users to understand and solve problems.

  • Strong project management skills with a focus on driving and delivering results.

  • Experience with Workday preferred but not required.

  • Scrum Master Certification
