Job Description Summary

The HRT Quality Assurance Analyst partners with Workday subject matter experts, functional areas and business unit leaders to ensure standard quality practices and processes are followed. This position conducts end-to-end testing on applications and technology to confirm that technical and functional business requirements are met throughout the development life cycle. The purpose is to design and execute test scripts based upon test strategy/plans to find defects prior to production . Once defects have been addressed and corrected, post-production certification will be required to indicate applications health and/or identify post-production defects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test plans for the ongoing production issues and enhancements covering all aspects of the Workday system and other supporting applications
  • Collaborate closely with the Workday domain leads and functional teams to understand the business requirements for HR Technology systems and integrations
  • Detect and discover software failures to be corrected
  • Record and document actual results and compare to expected results
  • Document anomalies and issues to generate historical analysis of test results
  • Develop and review comprehensive and reproducible test plans, test cases for workflow, new features, and bug fixes (must include, but not be limited to, regression, smoke, positive, negative, and edge case testing) for multiple projects of varying size
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
  • Lead Workday testing efforts for releases and changes between releases
  • Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
  • Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Monitor risk management activities
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
  • Draft, interpret, and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality systems

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Workday HCM using enterprise reporting tools and workday reporting
  • Experience with Workday ERP system
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
  • Deep understanding of the software development and QA life cycle processes as it pertains to Software as a System (SaaS) applications
  • Strong experience within the Agile Methodology (Scrum preferred)
  • Experience with automated testing tools Kainos Smart preferred

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $66,998.00 – 92,121.70
