In a dynamic industry context, the Lead HR Business Partner, Americas plays a key role in supporting company strategic objectives, driving our future success and creating value for our employees and the management teams. You will have a unique opportunity to expand your reach in terms of knowledge, network, and expertise through SWIFT’s global organization while managing a team of seasoned HRBPs and being accountable for executing and supporting the Human Capital strategy.
Based in one of our U.S offices (VA: Tysons, Manassas or Culpeper) (NY: New York), you will be working alongside and managing a dynamic team of trusted HR partners while coaching, supporting and challenging business teams in all people and organizational matters.
What to expect?
You act as a trusted advisor: Actively using strategic insight, facts and various forms of data to influence employees and leaders across the organization. You challenge others and make recommendations that are value add and effective.
You contribute to building a work environment where high performance is valued, rewarded and recognized: Supporting your team and the business to equip them for impactful conversations while continuing to better the performance management process. You support leaders in difficult conversations and play an active role in improving the continuous feedback culture.
You act as a capability builder: Participating and partnering in the talent acquisition process, talent development at individual and business team level, help and coach employees and managers and ensure talented people grow through mentoring, mobility and impactful career paths.
You act as a change agent and HR innovator: Implementing and supporting change initiatives focused on behavior, tools & processes and culture. When appropriate, you create specific solutions at the business team level, including supporting and steering change management dynamics while effectively dealing with resistance and helping to (re)set direction. You leverage the presence of Agile coaches within the HR organization to help drive changes.
You act as a strategic positioner: Understand and implement the strategic and organizational choices that were made to respond to business conditions and external customer expectations

10 years working in HR roles within a organization 3+ years’ experience as a Senior HR Business 3+ years of experience in managing teams often in multiple locations. Demonstrated leadership, coaching and people management skills. Pragmatic approach, backed up by the ability to think at conceptual level with a view to impact individuals and organizations. Knowledgeable about HR practices (recruitment, talent development, performance management, coaching, facilitation, change management, legislation, labor relations and organizational design). A strong foundation in the interdependencies between the different HR teams and how they collaborate and should collaborate better. Excellent HRBP core competencies (e.g. recruitment, talent development, performance management, coaching, facilitation of change management, organizational design, etc.)
Preferred, not required:
Preferred background in Finance, Technology, IT, Fin-tech, Consultancy Experience with Agile operating model is an asset Experience with Workday is a plus An understanding of the SWIFT business, the organization, and its importance to the global financial services marketplace.
