RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Take ownership of overall candidate experience and provide ideas for improvement
  • Manage candidate pipeline by continuously building and maintaining talent simultaneously showing responsiveness to all candidate inquiries
  • Maintain accurate entry, integrity and confidentiality of data for each candidate
  • Maintain professional communications and high level of confidentiality at all times with candidates
  • Work on multiple high priority recruiting projects in a competitive environment at any given time
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with candidate sources (ex. Industry Events, etc.)
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships Swinerton Operations Team.
  • Work with Operations to develop and manage recruiting metrics and targets (key performance indicators) and provide regular performance updates, analysis, and insights
  • Work with Operations to identify specific skills needed for critical roles being recruited
  • Maintain current understanding of recruiting landscape in construction and relevant industry dynamics
  • Maintain a solid understanding of Swinerton benefits and employment policies and procedures
  • Apply Swinerton HR recruiting best practices to all activities
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of Construction Industry
  • 3+ years experience in understanding and translating talent needs of a business and implementing recruiting strategies to find candidates to meet those needs
  • 3+ years experience with workforce planning, sourcing, recruiting, negotiating pay, and recommending hires
  • Highly skilled in identifying, attracting/selling, screening, interviewing candidates
  • Strong knowledge of the recruiting discipline including trends, current practices, technologies, and new developments
  • Ability to understand various trades to best match candidates to roles, functions, skill levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Familiarity in Workday HCM is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Bilingual fluency (English and Spanish) is a plus
