HRIS Analyst – Workday 

Our HRIS Analyst plays a vital role to optimize the Workday system and create business value through data integrity, use, reporting and flow. This role supports the day-to-day administration of the system and contributes to the design and the implementation of new modules and system features. HRIS Admin/Analyst works closely with the entire HR team. This an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing team and company and to work with a system that is a recognized leader in Cloud HCM.

As of September 2022 in our new hybrid work environment, we will be moving to our new office workspace located at 6911 Creditview Road in Mississauga, ON.

Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do

A deep understanding and experience with:

• Workday configuration specifically in Recruiting, including Talent Marketplace, Career Hub, and Skills Cloud.

• Working with internal HR Domain & other sub – workstreams.

• Designing creative solutions and evaluating solutions provided by partners.

• Reviewing and signing-off Requirements and Test Strategies, Scenarios and Results.

• Reviewing, assessing, and reacting to Workday releases.

A good understanding and experience with:

• Workday Security, HCM (ideally with completed Workday training/certification), and reviewing solutions for impacts to security and access.

• Managing initiatives, and supporting and delivering upon operational goals.

Key skillsets that include:

• Delivering timely, accurate, and efficient work, including exercising judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems.

• Building effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

Additionally, the successful applicant will serve as an advisor and partner between the business/group and Technology teams to define & document technology requirements. This may include:

• Acting as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.

• Assisting in the development, recommendation, support, and implementation of strategic plans.

• Helping to determine business priorities and the best sequence for executing business/group strategy.

• Breaking down strategic problems, and analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations.

• Identifying emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

• Supporting the business in production support, system enhancements, product upgrades and development.

• Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Your passion is sparked by:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday Experience – Preferably Recruiting and Onboarding experience

  • Expertise in Workday modules, including the ability to complete functional configuration;

  • Experience supporting a medium-to-large global organization

  • Excellent project management skills and solid ability to prioritize

  • Broad knowledge of human resource business processes and cross-functional impacts

  • Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with leadership and our partners across the company

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple initiatives

  • Ability to focus on the essential issues and simplify complexity
