JOB SUMMARY

Oversees a team of 6 to 10 HRIS (Human Resource Information System) Workday analysts to provide analytical support to core HR (Human Resources) business processes, including Recruiting, Payroll, Absence, HR (Human Resources) data management, and Talent Management. Partners with functional HR (Human Resources) leaders and drives business process improvements by leveraging technology (Workday HCM) and liaising with the BT (Business Technology) teams and vendor partners. Leads the design of process and technology to deliver metrics-based results such as HRIS data accuracy, payroll accuracy, and timeliness, systems error rates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees a team of 6 to 10 HRIS analysts to provide analytical support to core HR business processes, including Recruiting, Payroll, Absence, HR data management, Talent Management, and the integration of various HRIS systems
  • Partners with various HR and BT leaders and helps define HR’s Technology strategy and roadmap and ensures alignment with business needs
  • Partners with functional HR leaders and drives business process improvements by leveraging technology (Workday HCM) and liaising with the BT (IT) teams and vendor partners
  • Leads the design of process and technology to deliver metrics-based results such as HRIS data accuracy, payroll accuracy, and timeliness, eTime error rate, etc
  • Leads technology implementations and upgrades (Workday project) from an HR perspective, partnering with HR functional leaders, BT (IT), and technology implementation partners
  • Partners with functional HR leaders to prioritize business needs and implements a strong project management cadence in delivering solutions. This includes leading weekly prioritization meetings, measuring the effectiveness of solutions and managing customer expectations
  • Builds a high-performing team that focuses on customer service while increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the HRIS function

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent required;
  • Preferred – SHRM-SCP or CP certification preferred; Workday Pro Certification

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in implementing HR applications, specifically Workday – modules, including, but not limited to – Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Compensation, and Payroll.
  • 5+ years in HRIS management
  • 5+ years with Workday HCM
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating a strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes

Professional Skills

  • Experience building and managing scorecards to manage the effectiveness and efficiency of the HRIS team
  • Strong experience in building a partnership with HR business leaders, BT (IT) teams and vendor partners
  • Significant experience in implementing HR applications within Workday
  • Strong aptitude in managing conflicting unclear priorities and delivering on customer expectations
  • Demonstrated experience in  case management and prioritization of requests

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
