As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid global growth, Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is now hiring a Master Data Governance & Process Manager with a passion for Master Data processes, digital solutions, and ultimately, helping patients.

This is a vital role within the Strategy, Process Excellence & Innovation pillar a dynamic, newly created team within Takeda Business  Solutions. You will be critical in leading the way in bringing next-generation master data solutions to life.

You will be reporting to the Master Data Process & Governance Lead with a dotted line into the People Data Governance Center of Excellence. This is a dynamic role where you will be collaborating across Takeda Business Solutions, HR Business Partners, and HR IT. You will be empowered to challenge the status quo and lead exciting projects to continuously improve our ways of working and data quality. This is a unique opportunity to impact a highly visible and prioritized data domain.


Accelerate value & make an impact by:

• Leading and managing global master data process improvement projects, such as workflow and tool enhancements or optimizations in ways of working

•Driving a best-in-class data governance framework by defining and documenting data governance standards in close collaboration with the business data owners in over 55 countries worldwide

• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert with full responsibility for People Master Data domain

• Acting as an innovative and trusted People Master Data Expert to the MDM Operations team and broader Takeda stakeholders

• Acting as a third line of escalation for global MDM process related issues for the People Data domain

• Monitoring process performance to identify automation opportunities using analytical and statistical methodologies

Required qualifications:

+5 years professional experience

Profound know-how in master data processes and architecture, preferably with SAP MDG and SAP HCM or Workday solutions

Seniority and proven leadership experience in projects or people management

Excellent command of the English language

Ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders based on delivery and trust

Continuous improvement and innovation mindset

Entrepreneurial attitude with a high degree of self-sufficiency

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, economics, computer science, information management, supply chain or statistics

Other continuous improvement techniques (Kaizen)

Lean Six Yellow Green Belt certified (or higher) or comparable qualification for process improvement

Digital innovations and automation (ERP, WF, Robotics, AI)

Project management experience & methodology
