Payroll Specialist (m-f-x)
As we continue our digital transformation and experience rapid growth in the U.S. and Europe, Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is now hiring a Payroll Specialist on a full-time basis in our office in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist with sound knowledge of the Swiss Labour Law and experience in partnering with HR and Finance to ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll operations?
Accelerate value & make an impact by:
- Ensuring that payroll inputs are consolidated and processed accurately
- Preparing employee and payroll related payments.
- Ensuring all equity transactions are captured and processed within the pay periods
- Scheduling, facilitating, and participating in payroll-related meetings and presentations.
- Providing timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies, e.g., Payroll COE, Revenue, etc.
- Working with other functions to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information.
- Working with external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for employees e.g., expatriate, international assignments & equity
- Assisting in regular audits (Finance, internal and external audits, social security audits, Suva audits etc…)
- Ensuring a consistent focus and involvement in driving efficiencies and process improvements
Required qualifications:
- Experience as a payroll specialist
- Knowledge and experience with payroll principles, concepts, and standards
- Understanding of Equity and Mobility programs
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and the Swiss Labour Law
- Advanced user-skills with Excel
- Business fluency in English and French
Desirable:
- CIPP/IPASS or equivalent certification desirable
- Experience in HR operations or shared services environment or HR Functional experience (i.e., HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Staffing, HR Service Center, etc.).
- Knowledge of Workday
