Job Description
About the role:
The HR Data Digital and Technology (HR DD&T) team at Takeda plays an essential role in selecting, implementing, and supporting best in class technologies to drive HR's strategic initiatives. As a member of our HR DD&T team, you will own the Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules. You will lead configuration decisions for all compensation related items including and not limited to compensation plans, eligibility rules, and the annual compensation cycles. You will partner with teams in Total Rewards to manage compensation systems. You will also work with other areas of HR, Finance, and DD&T to identify and manage compensation related dependencies across HR, benefits, equity, payroll, and talent.
How you will contribute:

Partner with all team members including CoEIs, HR Business Partners and DD&T to understand our strategy and architect solutions based on best practices.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and user experience in Workday Compensation and in other strategic compensation business applications.

Explore new features and releases and raise awareness with business partners to identify implementation targets. Configure features and demonstrate for design review.

Provide ongoing system support for the compensation modules, including process configuration, ad-hoc reporting, EIB imports, vendor integration collaboration with DD&T, feature release testing, process documentation, system audits and issue resolution.

Work with team members to define requirements, implementation schedules, lead design decisions, and create training and communications for modifications or new features.

Conduct complex analysis and design for system modifications.

Engage with leadership to provide project and status updates, escalate issues, and bring them to resolution.

Manage others to ensure business solutions align to best practice and an understanding of Takeda’s policies and structure.

Collaborate with internal partners to advise and resolve problems.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Software/Systems

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a Workday Human Resource system in a global environment

Leadership experience in configuration of Workday compensation and advanced compensation for a global company

Ability to set priorities and manage projects to deadlines by balancing time, cost, and scope constraints

Demonstrated critical thinking, data-driven decision making, and analytical skills
-
Ability to express complex concepts in terms understandable to the user community

Teamwork; timely communication with peers, team members, management, inquisitive and proactive problem solver

Familiarity with agile development principles and processes
-
Ability to work with highly confidential information and an understanding of auditing and SOX principles
