As Takeda Business Solutions reimagines People Solutions at Takeda, we are hiring a Workday Compensation Configuration Analyst to provide operational efficiencies on a regional scale. People Solutions is a newly formed function within Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) with the objective of ensuring Takeda’s strategy, delivering simplification, improving service and ensuring a positive employee experience. As a Workday Compensation Configuration Analyst, you will be an expert for the HCM system and act as a project lead for configuring compensation in our Workday system. Reporting to the Global HCM Functional Manager, you will be a trusted partner to business and lead the analysis, documentation and delivery of new features, enhancements and bug fixes.

How you will contribute:

  • Lead the design of Workday business processes, specifically Core HR and Compensation

  • Focus on identifying trends, determining the cause of problems, predicting future effects and determining solutions to improve decisions

  • Provide compensation configuration support for Workday issues, enhancements and new features, including coordinating with your team and vendors

  • Review upcoming Workday release information and identify what changes will improve Takeda; perform necessary analysis, complete regression testing, communicate and configure new required and optional features

  • Ensure the appropriate development of SOX compliance and controls

  • Lead process and functional discussions while collaborating with HR Business Partners, HR Center of Excellence, technical and development teams and other members of the Global Human Capital Management Operations team

  • Engage HR and other departments (e.g. finance, payroll, IT, legal) to understand demands and ensure that HR is prepared to integrate with and support the projects

Minimum qualifications/requirements:

  • Workday compensation configuration experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate HRIS or HRIT or HCM Operations Management including data, platform, and systems management

  • Experience managing global projects and partners

  • Advanced educational degree or equivalent experience
