Job Location:

We have an opportunity for Expenses Support Specialist for a fixed-term 12-months contract. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a global environment and are enthusiastic about joining our team! Our small expenses team is providing administrative support to Nordic countries and continuously working on automation solutions within the area. Our goal is to improve efficiency of expenses area and make employees and managers experience seamless.

You will ensure that expenses reports are processed with efficiency and quality according to predefined guidelines and work processes. This will involve engaging with employees and managers, and, when required, addressing instances where expenses reports submitted do not have sufficient information to support quick and easy approval. Your duties will also include analyzing bounced back payments and resolving the root cause.

More detailed responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing, analyzing, creating, and approving expense reports in Workday system.
  • Answering expenses related requests raised by our employees & managers.
  • Scheduling settlement runs.
  • Managing employees’ travel profiles and accounts.
  • Updating user guides with changes from new Workday releases.
  • Running reports and ensuring data quality within Workday.
  • Proactively contributing to improvements in expense area to increase our end user satisfaction.
  • Be involved in roll out of expense functionality in new companies/markets.
  • Supporting audit requirements.

Your experience:

  • Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations, along with experience in travel and expense accounting, is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English (verbal, written).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the team environment.
  • Workday skills would be considered as an advantage.
