Senior Business Analyst – Enterprise Systems

TNTP seeks a full-time Senior Business Analyst for the Technology team. This position is based in a home office anywhere in the U.S. and is available immediately. Occasional travel is required, contingent upon organizational/state/federal travel regulations.

The Technology team is a dynamic team that provides services to over 800 TNTP staff working on over 40 contract sites across the country and maintains a cloud-based infrastructure and suite of enterprise-level systems of moderate to high complexity. The team works directly with internal clients to provide exceptional customer service, manages technology vendors, and mitigates risk. The Technology team approaches work through a model of continuous improvement and governance models to support the evolving work of internal clients and address the business needs of a growing, virtually connected organization. We operate with a team culture focused on collaboration, sustainability, and professional development.

What you’ll do
As Senior Business Analyst, you will work collaboratively with internal groups to maintain and support TNTP’s human capital and financial management enterprise solution (Workday and Adaptive), and analyze process and technology challenges and recommend practical solutions. In addition, you will keep a constant pulse on systems and data trends to ensure the Enterprise Systems team and clients meet their goals and will support strategy execution for the organization.   

Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Project manage the semi-annual Workday feature release process, working with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization to identify impact and enhancement opportunities. You’ll also coordinate the testing, training, and change management process associated with new release features and functionality.

  • Provide technical leadership for Workday, inclusive of leading implementation of incremental improvements, managing the internal systems roadmap, and maintaining and optimizing platform operations.

  • Lead the operational and tactical teams within the governance framework

  • Assess current state business processes and capability gaps and identify multiple solution options and pathways by working with internal clients using Workday or those who could benefit from its use

  • Analyze requirements for complex business needs, ensuring that all requirements support delivery of project goals and meet prioritized key stakeholder needs.

  • Coach, train, project manage, and develop the team of admins and analysts supporting Workday to build a strong, inclusive team culture, deepen system knowledge and provide technical support

  • Build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders to successfully gain input, negotiate complex needs, and prioritize opportunities 

  • Effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at varying levels of organizational leadership 

  • Strong business knowledge, including knowledge of organizational services and structure and industry trends, products, services, and client needs 

  • Lead documentation (both technical and user-facing) of Workday processes and support knowledge management and Workday literacy across the organization

Qualifications 

  • Prior experience with Workday and Adaptive, or other ERPs, as an administrator is strongly preferred. Workday Pro Certification is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including client management and the ability to influence and engage project teams, peers, and TNTP leadership team members.   

  • Experience managing others preferred 

  • Self-reliant, results-oriented problem-solving skills, including the ability to critically assess challenges and identify innovative, effective solutions in ambiguous situations.   

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to make decisions, work efficiently, prioritize effectively, and anticipate future needs in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to research, assess, and recommend improvements to business processes, organization, and policies that can increase the advantages gained from technical and non-technical solutions 

What We Offer

TNTP offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position with the potential for an annual performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position is $88,000 – $132,000. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, covering the majority of the employee premium for the base medical plan and subsidizing the majority of costs for a spouse/domestic partner and children. Other benefits include dental and vision plans, disability, life insurance, parenting benefits, flexible spending account options, generous vacation time, commuter benefits, referral bonuses, professional development, and a 403(b) plan. TNTP may offer a relocation stipend to defray the cost of moving for this role, if applicable.
