PURPOSE
The Talent Acquisition Analyst performs at the professional level to perform daily activities and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in assigned areas in accordance with the mission, core values, and purpose of the University.
RESPONSIBILITIES
RECRUITMENT – 45%

Coordinate all aspects of recruitment and selection for Faculty and Staff including but not limited to reviewing descriptions, posting positions, sourcing candidates, advertising, creating employment data and spreadsheets, and obtaining necessary approvals for hiring.

Develop recruitment strategies for assigned positions including, but not limited to developing and activating candidate pipelines, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and social media/search engine channels.

Coordinate and meet with Hiring Manger (HM) to ensure recruitment activities follow all applicable procedures, regulations, and laws. Provide an overview, guidance, and timeline of the process to the hiring manager and all committee members and explain the roles, policies, and expectations of the department and the TCS.

Demonstrate expert level of understanding of talent acquisition needs by participating in client meetings, being aware of changes within the business, acting as a subject matter expert for areas of talent acquisition responsibility as well as managing hiring manager/candidate expectations.

Create and maintain best practices for recruiting methods and diverse sourcing methods.

Source, contact, assess, and pipeline qualified candidates through a wide variety of channels. Explore innovative ways to attract, recruit, and hire top talent.

Build and maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline using research, networking, and database information, including a communication strategy to engage candidates.

Provide a positive candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout the talent acquisition process; share manager feedback and appropriately disposition all candidates.

Educate candidates on the career growth potential, benefits, compensation philosophy and many advantages of employment, selling both the firm and the opportunity.

Establish and manage the employee referral process by fielding employee referral submissions, tracking all referrals, and submitting qualified referrals to appropriate business partner.

Partner with senior management, HR colleagues, and finance to anticipate upcoming needs and strategize pipelines.
ADMINISTRATIVE – 10%

Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process of staff and faculty.

Serve as a key influencer, building strategic partnerships and leveraging data and research to achieve quality of hire, time to fill, cost per hire, and customer and candidate satisfaction.

Provide service excellence and serve as a resource on human resources issues, effectively communicate human resources policies, and explain human resources processes and procedures. Resolve basic issues as appropriate. Refer other issues to human resources manager/director or supervisor for resolution.

Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars upon request.

Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s Degree.
-
Two (2) year related experience.
-
Strong human relations and interpersonal skills including collaboration, professionalism and demonstrated consultative skills conducive to building and maintaining positive relations with administrators, co-workers, staff, faculty, and students.

Intermediate skills in computers and with a variety of computer applications including word-processing, spreadsheets, databases, online systems, Internet. Experience developing and delivering presentations and facilitating meetings concerning complex content.

Ability to effectively perform work of a highly sensitive and confidential nature that requires access to information. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, tact, and diplomacy. Ability to coordinate several personnel functions and determine the relative importance of each.

Initiative in independently planning, organizing, and performing work assignments within broadly defined parameters. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a well-organized and focused manner. Ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
WHAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE

Demonstrated customer service requiring a high level of diplomacy and professionalism.
SALARY: $44,000 – $47,000/annually, approximately ($3,666.67 – $3,916.67/monthly). Salary is dependent upon education and/or experience.
