The Division of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness, also known as HROE, at Texas A&M University is changing our culture and we need Human Resources Specialists for Benefits Administration, Employee Relations and Talent Recruiting! Benefit Specialists support employees and retirees from initial enrollment, to open enrollment, to retirement and all benefits in between and includes experience with benefits administration, retirement and retirement planning,
Employee Relations Specialists navigate complex human resource management programs and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and includes experience with federal and state employment law (ADA, EEOC, UCI, and Title IX), problem solving, compliance, investigation, employee relations or policy administration/enforcement.
Recruiting Specialists partner with departments/managers to build relationships by designing recruitment strategies to engage candidates from outreach to offer, providing high-touch experiences that will build lasting relationships with managers and candidates and includes experience with full cycle recruiting, position development, advertising and sourcing
Minimum qualifications for an entry level position include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and one year of related HR experience. Minimum qualifications for advanced level positions include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and up to five years of related HR experience.
A well-qualified candidate would possess the following: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field; more than five years of experience in one of the specialty areas; experience with Workday or another Human Capital Management (HCM) application.
