A great opportunity has become available for an experienced HRIS Analyst to join the corporate HR team based at Sydney Olympic Park.  The HR Systems Analyst (Workday) provides technical support for Workday including triage of issues, system administration/configuration, changes as well as maintenance tasks and reporting. This role works directly with the HR Services Manager but also with stakeholders from the wider HR Function and the business on a variety of projects such as systems upgrades, reorganisations and enhancements.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                                               

As an HR Systems Analyst (Workday) you are accountable for:

  • Maintain and develop core HR systems including permissions architecture
  • Contribute to HR System projects including selecting, testing and implementing software
  • Carry out system administration activities within Workday including system maintenance, system testing, system/data checks, managing user access, fault-finding and resolution
  • Maintenance of database operations of all HR systems in scope
  • Perform regular data quality audits and monitor system integrations to ensure integrity and accuracy within Workday
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of relevant practices and procedures
  • Creation and maintenance of reports and analytics against end user needs whilst driving standardisation and medium of delivery
  • Ensure the on-time delivery of all scheduled HR metrics (both automated and manual) and ad-hoc/non-standard reports.
  • Support key stakeholders through training on HR systems and resolving HR systems queries
  • Input, review and format HR data for entry into the HR system ensuring data integrity and quality
  • Focus on continuous improvement, looking for new ways to improve processes and services, and analysing options for HR system requirements
  • Represent HRIS across domestic and international forums and key stakeholder groups
  • Partner with third party provider for HR systems related maintenance, configuration and other administrative tasks

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Workday
  • Experience with HRIS and Payroll systems
  • Experience working with systems including reporting, configuration management, supporting others
  • Experience and knowledge of working to processes and in line with process methodology
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Project management exposure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion in all matters of confidentiality
