Job Summary:

The Kronos Analyst reports to the Director of HRIS and is responsible for the Kronos system, including overall time and wage record collection process and the assurance of accurate and legally compliant wage and hour practices throughout the organization. This position will work collaboratively with HR, Legal, IT, Store Operations, and Distribution Center management teams to support, improve, and implement technologies and processes around time and attendance, absence management, and Kronos reporting.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Administer all system configuration changes in Kronos including but not limited to all Pay Policies, Pay Rules, Holiday Profiles, Work Rules, PCDs, Accrual Profiles, Function and Display Profiles, Schedule Groups, ATK, Mapping Tables, Attendance, etc.
  • Update Kronos system, as well as all Standard Operation Procedures as needed to support all Payroll, HR, and Paid Time off Policy Changes, as well as new legal requirements.
  • Monitor all interface alerts and errors, and partners with HR Operations team in researching error messages generated from Kronos; Apply corrective changes to employee data.
  • Responsible for building and updating hyper-find queries and genies within Kronos.
  • Continue to develop, enhance, and automate Kronos audit routines to isolate record rejection, payroll errors, and data anomalies.
  • Evaluate and enhance Kronos interfaces alongside the IT Department to streamline efficiencies for payroll processing and to automate cleanup efforts.
  • Perform all unit and regression testing in Kronos to support any configuration changes.
  • Prepare monthly audits to ensure all data elements are updated timely and accurately within the Kronos system.
  • Create, enhance, and increase inefficiencies in established Microsoft Access databases as it relates to time tracking reports and processes
  • Support and assist the Payroll team with all payroll processing jobs, performing various validation steps throughout the process, and auditing timecards weekly, to ensure an accurate and successful payroll run.
  • Support and assist the HR team with responding to all inquiries Kronos related inquires through Service Now.
  • Run monthly reports as well as ad-hoc requests.
  • Assist Payroll Management in compiling information to satisfy internal/external payroll tax audit requests by utilizing Workday and Kronos reporting.
  • Partner with Payroll Management in performing year end processes, special projects, and special tasks as needed.
  • Support Workday Payroll configuration and reporting

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Kronos Time & Attendance System
  • Proven experience utilizing an  in-house HR/Payroll software application
  • Experience working in a high volume, multi-state, multiple FEIN tax structure
  • Workday knowledge a plus
