Let us tell you a bit about the role:
This role will be responsible for cyclical activity on Workday, including EIB’s and routine maintenance such as:
Position Management: Assist in creating and managing positions within Workday, ensuring data accuracy for new and existing roles.
Organisational Restructures: Support the implementation of organisational restructures by updating reporting lines, departments, and related data in Workday.
Role Maintenance: Help maintain roles and responsibilities within Workday, keeping the system up-to-date with team changes and role adjustments.
System Upgrades & Testing: Assist in testing Workday upgrades and new release cycles, ensuring the system remains functional and efficient for users.
Data Maintenance: Perform proactive system and data maintenance to keep information accurate and up-to-date, contributing to data integrity across the organisation.
Ticket Resolution Support: Resolve basic Workday-related tickets through FreshService, investigating solutions to reduce recurring issues and improve user experience.
Reporting: Run and create standard Workday reports, providing essential data insights for HR and management teams.
Process Documentation: Document processes and create user guides to support team members in effectively navigating and using Workday.
Process Improvement: Identify simple process improvements and document their impacts to help streamline HRIS workflows and enhance system usability.
What we looking for in the successful applicant:
Technical Skills
HRIS Experience (preferred but not essential): Familiarity with using an HRIS system (ideally Workday) for data entry, reporting, or general system navigation.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in data entry, reporting, and system maintenance to ensure high data integrity.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and understand basic reporting, with a proactive approach to identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Technical Aptitude: Comfort with learning and navigating HRIS systems (ideally Workday) and willingness to develop technical skills, especially in troubleshooting and support.
Proficiency in use of Excel: To be able to use excel for large data sets and digest and share the details and highlight the information it is giving.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Curious and resourceful in investigating and resolving issues, with an interest in identifying solutions to prevent recurring problems.
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, keeping track of deadlines and maintaining accurate documentation. Managing tickets and ensuring customer service is always of a high standard.
Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to create clear user guides and assist team members with queries in a supportive manner.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with the HRIS team and other departments, contributing to a positive team culture and supporting organisational goals.
Continuous Learner: Enthusiasm for learning new HRIS features and functionality, as well as developing broader HR knowledge, to grow within the role.
Adaptability: Open to change and flexible in adapting to new processes, system updates, and organisational requirements.
