Job Description Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner will, in partnership with Leadership, maintain and enhance people operations by planning, implementing, and evaluating polices, programs, and practices to enhance the associate experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with the business leaders and their teams for the development of business strategies that boost productivity and growth.

  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies for all associates.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

  • Contribute to all activities associated with human resources, including, but not limited to, Workday system management, human capital management, payroll, associate relations, performance reviews and business processes. 

  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

  • Assist recruitment efforts in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team for all positions. This may include actively sourcing talent and interviewing.

  • Conduct new hire orientations, monitoring the career path program, associate relations counseling, and exit interviews. 

  • Assist with annually updating compensation programs by conducting annual compensation review, as well as monitoring and revising the performance evaluation plan. 

  • Lead and participate in administrative staff meetings and seminars. 

  • Always represent TIFEC and its related affiliates in a professional manner. 

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Human Resources field.

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management and federal and state respective employment laws.

  • Knowledge of Federal, Missouri and Kansas employment laws and regulations.Â
