Once live, we also provide expertise and resources as needed to support the customer’s individual Workday solution.

We are looking for a Vice President of Workday Financials Customer Experience who is passionate about working in a collaborative environment and has the ambition to be a driver for success.  The Workday Financials Client Advisory Executive will be key to TopBloc’s success by providing expert guidance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and partnering with the sales team in achieving its goals.

Requirements (What we are looking for)

  • 5+ years work experience in a Finance leadership role for a global publicly and/or privately held company while leveraging Workday Financials? (required)

  • Workday Financials deployment and/or implementation experience from a customer perspective (required)

  • Workday Financials Reporting, Security and Configuration experience.  The candidate must demonstrate subject matter expertise of how Workday Financials configurations can solve a variety of different Finance operations challenges (required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Business Administration, Product Management and or MBA (preferred)

  • Finance digital transformation experience including knowledge and experience with various Finance related technologies and ERP solutions

  • Ability to demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of various global Finance technology solutions

  • Ability to present compelling digital transformation business cases and solution options leveraging Workday

  • Experience working as or with a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and/or a member of the CFO direct report staff

  • Experienced trusted advisor with established C-level communication skills and presence.

  • Excellent project leadership and problem solving skills.

  • Experience developing and implementing the strategy, operations and user-facing solutions for Financials (FINs) and/or Human Capital Management (HCM) applications.

  • Experience working and presenting to external enterprise level clients.

  • Experience working on large and complex programs, developing road maps, and implementing best practices to deliver client solutions.

  • Startup and/or growth stage technology experience preferred (but not required)

  • Digital transformation and service strategy experience a bonus.

  • Energetic and work hard play hard mentality.

  • Ability to travel 20-30% 

Responsibilities (What you will do)

  • A deep understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial (FINs) systems with the ability to analyze, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements that align with client’s business objectives.

  • Lead Financials and/or HCM Advisory Services and Advisory Support customer engagements

  • Excel in understanding client needs, challenges, and opportunities, and be able to tailor your advisory services to address their specific needs.

  • Collaborate closely with TopBloc Sales Team, Workday Sales Team, and Workday Customer and Partner events to support business development efforts.

  • Contribute as the voice of the customer during sales calls, providing references and insights that enhance the customer experience.

  •  Focus on enhancing the NET Promoter Score and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores through effective advisory and support.

  • Establish and maintain a database of satisfied customer references to strengthen TopBloc’s reputation.

  • Drive customer satisfaction.

  • Engage with senior leadership on departmental or company initiatives.

  • Establish goals, analyze growth, and provide accurate progress reports, forecasts, and budgets.

  • Ensure company-wide consistency in client service and sales procedures.

  • Utilize product solutions and marketing teams to refine service offerings.

  • Develop road map and maintain strategy for client advisory.

The hiring base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At TopBloc, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range salary is $180,000 – $275,000.
