What You Will Be Doing:

The Senior Manager, Global HRIS role oversees and manages the support, configuration, and ongoing administration of our HR systems to ensure current and future functionality exists to support HR and business processes. Partners with other HR leaders to identify and prioritize business needs, deliverables, and timelines for enhancements, implementations, and administration of cyclical processes. Manages global HRIS team members and provides direction and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, strategic direction for a team in charge of rolling out new solutions and maintaining them, with a strong focus on efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance.
  • Implement the strategy and ongoing administration of Workday to support short and long-term organization goals, and enable efficiency.
  • Manage a global HRIS team completing day-to-day configuration, reporting, and system administration in Workday.
  • Designs, configures, tests, validates, documents, and implements new functionality or improvements to existing functionality in Workday
  • Maintains system configuration to ensure data integrity across all Workday modules.
  • Assists in developing new processes as needed, including creating and updating documentation.
  • Provide expertise, recommendation on business process development.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and define requirements.
  • Serve as liaison between functional and technical team and scope the project requirements.
  • Partner with technical team to test integrations both internally and with third party vendors.
  • Deliver high level customer service, externally and internally, working collaboratively and independently as needed.
  • Identify cross-system and cross-functional area interactions and risks within Workday and other systems to ensure minimal impact to the business when implementing new or updating existing functionality.
  • Participate in Workday releases by identifying changes to uptake and completing regression testing of new releases.
  • Analyze existing business processes and make recommendations on improvements.
  • Develop scalable processes across multiple functional areas where existing processes may not be available.
  • Plan and monitor progress of all external partners working within Workday on initiatives/projects.

Who We Are Looking For:

Your experience includes:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of Workday configuration experience
  • Experience in completing and troubleshooting Workday business processes and configuration
  • Experience managing HR systems projects and working with technical resources
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to deal with all levels of employees and management with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business users.
  • Ability to lead a team a global team and provide direction as necessary
  • Ability to interpret and/or discuss complex information with others in a clear way, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people
  • Ability to effectively conduct virtual presentations and training sessions
  • Proven ability to understand business requirements in a variety of functional areas
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong customer service orientation and skills; thrive in a team environment
