Our Phoenix based headquarters is searching for an individual who has a proven track record of success. Under the direction of the HRIS Manager, this individual will join the HRIS team, providing security oversight of operations, configuration and expertise including Payroll administration.

The HRIS Security Analyst responsibilities include gathering data, improving the performance of various HR systems, and making recommendations to improve performance metrics across departments. We are looking for an individual with strong technical skills and who demonstrates strength in teamwork. This Team Member will be joining a strong team of individuals who are responsible for the implementation and on-going support of Workday HR/Payroll and related integrations, configuration, and reporting.


  • Formulation and implementation of overall WorkDay Security Strategy.
  • Configuration administration, system upgrades, change control, reporting administration and establishing well-controlled environments by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Ensure data consistency, data integrity, and enterprise alignment.
  • Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures for HRIS to regulate access to computer data and prevent unauthorized modifications, destruction, or disclosure of information.
  • Maintain Workday security design, configuration, workflow, and security administration.
  • Coordinate and lead Workday mandatory upgrades; design and implement overall testing strategy.


  • At least 3 years as a WorkDay system Administrator.
  • Ability to work efficiently under shifting project priorities while managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision and varied time constraints.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday’s system administration. (Tenant management, version releases, regression testing)
  • Proven systems analysis, design, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday’s security configuration. (Data domains, configuration migration)
  • Must have strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Payroll and Recruiting, and Report Writer tools.
  • Must have knowledge of Workday integrations. (Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, PICOFs, Web Services & REST APIs)
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a team player who prefers a collaborative environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and experience (preferred).


  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in computer science or payroll/accounting-related field. Applicable work experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • WorkDay Payroll/HCM/Recruiting Certification (preferred).
