This is a Summer 2022 internship that will support the HRIS & Total Rewards teams at Alkegen. This individual will work Monday – Thursday through the summer.

The focus of this role will be to support analyst in general system maintenance, data auditing, and project support.  This role will work under Lead HRIS Analyst to support department needs during a time of Organizational Growth. This person will have the opportunity to learn and utilize one of the largest global Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions on the market. 


  • Fielding Level 1 Service/help tickets

  • Auditing data for accuracy and consistency

  • Projects as assigned – i.e. Branding, Document Control Assessments, implementation, etc.

  • Research solutions for process improvements, and bugs

  • Learn and utilize multiple modules of Workday

  • Assist with the bi-annual Workday release

  • Involvement in Process improvements to the company recognition platform

  • Create process documentation

  • Coordinate with cross functional teams on HRIS needs

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Preferably entering Senior year in a Bachelor’s program, or Master’s Students

  • Preferably studying Business, Human Resources, MIS or IT 

  • Workday or other HRIS knowledge a plus

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Sound critical thinking and research capabilities 

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
