Position Details

Information Technology & Security, Enterprise Solutions, at The University of Tampa has an available position for a Senior Workday/CRM Solutions Architect.  This role involves interfacing with various enterprise technologies, CRMs, data analytics, and infrastructure systems at The University of Tampa. Additionally, the position will serve as a key resource for maintaining and enhancing the many different facets of Workday and coordinating similar activities in peripheral CRMs. Two essential components are: the development, implementation, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and the campus admissions CRM, Slate; and being a key player in the integration security best practices and governance structure of UT's cloud enterprise systems. Additional duties may include assisting the UT campus with adopting, using, and optimizing Workday Student and Slate configurations and reporting, and data analytics. As a Senior Workday/CRM Solutions Architect, you will be critical in designing, developing, and implementing integrated solutions within the Workday platform and the admissions CRM. This position requires a deep understanding of Workday architecture, business processes, and the ability to create seamless integrations to enhance overall system functionality.  Experience with other cloud-based ERPs, such as Oracle, SAP, Unit4, Slate, Workday Prism, etc., will also be considered. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a strategic mindset to drive effective solutions that align with institutional goals. This position will work closely with the Information Technology and Security (ITS) and Strategic Enrollment Planning teams.

The Senior Workday/CRM Solutions Architect will report directly to the Associate Vice President of Enterprise Solutions and work closely with the Enrollment Management Leadership Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into systems requirements and scope

  • Develop documentation and proof-of-concept designs to solve business challenges using the Workday and CRM solution(s) available

  • Establish best practices and standards for the implementation of and use of Workday’s data analytics tool, Prism

  • Own, build, maintain, support, and troubleshoot Workday/Slate and other CRM integrations (i.e., Workday, Slate, and other third-party systems) as an expert in all CRM-leading integration technologies using Workday Integration tools (e.g., EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, etc.) while ensuring data integrity and security

  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners as needed to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer of system integrations, reporting, and business analytics, and configuration via collaboration with team members

  • Maintain awareness of current trends and new CRM and ERP technical capabilities and functionality, providing recommendations to appropriate functional teams on how to take advantage of these new functionalities and relevant security principles/best practices

  • Create and maintain CRM feature adoption and enhancement roadmap for workload management, planning, and budgeting purposes

  • Evaluate comprehensive CRM system gap analysis with recommendations to enhance the overall stature and creation of efficiencies

  • Assist with the Workday and Slate Release processes, including regression and feature adoption testing.

  • Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and the development of skills for engaging with other cultures and backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. 

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience as an ERP Integrations Architect with in-depth knowledge of Workday architecture or a similar ERP. 

  • At least 2 years of experience administering and/or leading the use of data analytics (i.e., Workday Prism, Tableau)

  • Strong understanding of Workday business processes and reporting.

  • Proficient in Workday or other Integration tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.

  • Workday certifications are highly desirable; if there are no Workday certifications, the ability to obtain them within 6 months of hire with training provided.

  • Higher Education experience is preferred but not required.

  • Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Summer:  Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Occasional evenings and weekends may be required
