Senior Compensation Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst will support the Compensation COE team by providing in-depth analysis that drives the business towards key decisions regarding market competitiveness, pay equity, and other practices that impact the organization’s compensation philosophy and strategy. This role is responsible for supporting the Compensation COE team with data needed to anticipate changes in competitiveness and practices, to support annual events, and to support projects that directly impact the company’s compensation and total rewards practices. Success in this role will require an understanding of compensation practices, as well as the ability to develop meaningful, data-driven recommendations.

How You Will Make a Difference:  

  • Provide comprehensive analytical support for the global Compensation COE by compiling data from various sources (salary survey databases, Workday, manual files) to be used to drive business decisions regarding the company’s global pay programs and practices.

  • Lead and participate in projects in support of compensation team needs. Provide analytical and testing support for regularly occurring projects, such as salary structure review, merit, and bonus.

  • Identify market movement trends, assess gaps in current programs/processes, and recommend changes to management.

  • Review and evaluate external market data; participate in annual survey participation requirements.

  • Conduct regular audits of Workday data, ensuring data accuracy related to compensation metrics.

  • Maintain the Global Job Framework materials, updating and communicating changes as needed.

  • Responsible for the continual creation and maintenance of job profiles, compensation grade profiles, and internal resources utilized by Compensation COE.

  • Provide support to the Compensation COE and leadership team with other deliverables as needed.

Skills for Success 

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+ year’s previous experience in a compensation or related HR role required.

Educational Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field.

  

Along with:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.

  • Workday experience preferred.

  • Possesses decisive judgement skills, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Professional maturity, and utmost respect for the confidential data and matters.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

Salary Range

$86,400.00 – $129,600.00 annually

Annual Incentive Eligibility

This position is eligible to participate in VF’s Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its’ Corporate and business level financial objectives.

Long Term Incentive Eligibility

This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
