Recruiting Manager, Field Ops  


The Vivint Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Recruiting Manager for our Field Ops Recruiting Team. This is a high-volume recruiting team, consisting of recruiters, a coordinator, and temporary support during the peak season (Feb-Aug).   

As the Field Ops Recruiting Manager, you will provide support and guidance to the Field Ops Recruiting team. You will help to solve day-to-day issues and will identify issues that need to be escalated to the Sr. Manager. You will be responsible for driving the performance of your direct reports and ensure that best practices are being followed throughout the recruiting process. In this role you will also compile and analyze recruiting data and create reports to enable our team to track performance and make informed decisions.  You will also have your own set of requisitions to recruit on, and will act as the Zone Leader for the Central region.  

You will have the opportunity to work closely with hiring managers, recruiters, vendors, and other HR groups. You will play a key role in facilitating a smooth and positive recruiting and onboarding experience.

Job Responsibilities:   

  • Develop, drive & execute on staffing strategies that support the Field Ops organization   

  • Lead, mentor, & develop the Talent Acquisition team to achieve team goals   

  • Build relationships and serve as a talent expert to business stakeholders.   

  • Share best practices with and help manage expectations for VTA teams.  

  • Be seen as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the area you support.   

  • Identify systems & process improvements continuously.   

  • Conduct 1:1’s with direct reports on a weekly basis and drive team performance.  

  • Report on weekly, monthly, and yearly goals and hires  

  • Assist with managing job boards and social media postings 

  • Ensure team hits weekly numbers while hiring top quality candidates 

  • Compile and analyze recruiting data insights to inform decisions.   

  • Create innovative sourcing strategies and ensure a high-touch candidate experience   

  • Maintain consistent and proactive communication with key stakeholders.  

Required Skills:    

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Human Resources, or equivalent experience 

  • Prior management or supervisory experience is a plus.  

  • Excellence communication skills (Verbal, Written, & Presentation)   

  • Demonstration of Time management, decision making, organization, & problem-solving skills   

  • Excellent knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures, including all applicable EEO and ADA regulations. 

  • Understanding and experience with HRIS software with preferred knowledge of Workday  

  • Ability to pull together data and visualize insights and trends  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Tableau & Canva   

  • Ability to work well in a team and as an individual contributor   

  • Exceptional customer service skills
