Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of Vivint planning, financial analysis, and management reporting, including providing financial support to Vivint management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management and reporting
  • Help determine Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Develop Models for new business ideas, products, and channels
  • Support monthly close process, and execute SOX controls
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives surrounding data quality, and systems capability
  • Prepare variance and trend analysis, and provide proactive recommendations for addressing variances in budget
  • Provide ad hoc analytics

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Detailed understanding of financial budgeting and forecasting concepts and modeling
  • Experience with planning and analysis software tools (experience with Adaptive Planning and FPR software a plus)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify trends in financial data and develop creative solutions to address negative trends
  • Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a company with multiple routes to market is a plus
  • Experience supporting the solar industry a plus
  • Experience in a High Tech Company is a plus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience, complex challenging environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance preferred), MBA a plus
  • Accounting background a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:   

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
