What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for? 

The Application Developer- Workday should understand, analyze, design, and develop Workday integrations based on written and verbal specifications. Lead the technical team and coordinate with functional consultants and various other stake holders including business. The candidate will be working on large scale business transformational initiatives and will be involved in providing right technical recommendations.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? 

  • Actively participate and work with business teams to understand and document technical requirements for Workday feature implementations, enhancements/ features, and integrations
  • You are a self-starter and exceptional problem solver who works well under pressure with competing priorities and have uncompromising attention to detail.
  • You will work on the roadmap of solutions required to deliver the customer’s strategy and design end-to-end solutions across HR and beyond to enable organizational capability and meet overall Payroll strategy and priorities.
  • Facilitate the development of solutions which are sustainable in the current organization structures and tools.
  • Market existing solutions to customers and ensuring they understand how to access current processes and technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to make improvements to customers’ processes through innovative use of technology or process redesign.
  • Configuration of required changes within Workday including full end-to-end testing.
  • Strategic thinking – ability to see the big picture and identify the right path to achieve objectives.
  • You understand all aspects of Workday to identify downstream impacts on recommended solutions.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? 

  • Should have overall 3-6 Years of Workday Integration Development and/or Support experience in Workday HCM or Recruiting. 
  • Must have strong STUDIO integration experience and should be able to lead the design/requirement sessions, develop and test complex studio integrations independently. 
  • Should have knowledge on Workday Extend, working experience is preferred
  • Should have very good experience with Cloud Connectors, CCW, EIB, DT’s, XML/ XSLT, PICOF, and Workday STUDIO custom integrations, Report Writer BIRT. 
  • Should have hands on experience on PECI/PICOF
  • Should have working experience of Business Process Configuration, Security, ISSG/ISU. 
  • Should be able to create detailed system integration specifications, field mapping, and system process designs. 
  • Must be able to resolve incidents and cases and provide production support
  • Design, Develop, test and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements. 
  • Ability to help resolve integration issues requiring a depth of expertise in the Workday solution 
  • Proficiency with web service technologies (REST, SOAP, WSDL, SSL, PGP, SAML). 
  • Experience on Middleware integrations with Workday Configuration will be preferred. 
  • Understanding of HCM functional modules – Core HR, Recruitment, Compensation etc will be preferred. 
  • Understanding SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work in a global cross-functional environment to help support and enhance business systems
  • Ability to plan and execute tasks in a structured manner
  • Able to work, collaborate and contribute to a team environment
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills or experience
  • Logical/Perceptive, problem solving, detail oriented, solution oriented
