This role can be performed in the following locations: Pittsburgh (strongly preferred) or Erie, PA; Fort Worth, TX, or Chicago, IL. Relocation assistance may be provided if eligibility requirements are met.

Senior Share Plan Administrator

Wabtec is looking for an analytical, collaborative, creative and knowledgeable Senior Share Plan Administrator to join our team. This position is responsible for providing share plan subject matter expertise and exceptional service to Wabtec’s HR team and plan participants.  In addition, the role will manage our domestic relocation program and provide support and leadership to the management of the Company’s foundation.  The Senior Stock Plan Administrator role will be a key contributor to the Wabtec Compensation Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation to the Wabtec Human Resources team, managers and employees on share plan, relocation and foundation related questions.
  • Manage and administer the company’s equity programs ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Model cost implications, identify trends, and make recommendations for senior management.
  • Partner with legal to ensure all SEC filings are prepared and filed within required deadlines
  • Oversee the U.S. relocation vendor to manage the domestic relocation process
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and develops and provides education for leaders, HR and employees  
  • Coordinate equity plan management with accounting, legal, tax and payroll as necessary
  • Work closely with share plan vendor and share transfer agent
  • Provide data and analysis for the Compensation Committee and Proxy as requested
  • Provide support in the relocation of international assignees
  • Provide support to the CHRO for the Company’s charitable foundation
  • Assist with the management of the Company’s annual United Way drive
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job
  • At least 5 years’ progressive experience in share plan management for a publicly traded U.S. company
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong analytical skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation or coursework in pursuit of designation
  • Experience with Workday, E*trade, domestic (U.S.) relocation programs and the management of a company’s foundation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile, and present business reports/correspondence, and present information clearly
  • Capable of planning and organizing work and processes; ability to self-direct projects and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional reasoning ability and good judgment to assist with complex business decisions
  • Excellent analytical and data management capabilities
