Job Title: Senior Compensation Analyst / Talent Framework Project Specialist (Contract)
A little bit about our team:
You will become an integral part of the Talent Framework program team focused primarily on the Pay and Job Architecture workstreams. You will work closely with the Global People Team to deliver the outcomes of the Talent Framework Program.
Your role:
The Talent Framework Program is one of the most significant global transformation projects across WMG. The project is being phased in over time to allow for effective integration into the fabric of the business. Phase 1 (completed), included the development of detailed job profiles that represent the areas of expertise across this iconic creative music business. The existing roles have been mapped into the new global career framework job profiles within each business and functional area and include standardized career tracks and levels across 21 job family groups.
Phase 2 of the program is under way and making great progress across several workstreams. Your role will be to drive completion of the calibration of the initial job mapping that was completed in Phase 1. The key outcome of this role is to refine the job mapping both vertically and horizontally to ensure accuracy and consistency within and across functions and business groups globally. You will work closely with members of the compensation team as well as the global People Partners in conducting analysis and recommending refinements to produce the final mapping. In addition, you will provide support for the development of new salary structures, employee impact analyses and change management content.
Here you’ll get to:

Drive the completion of the job mapping calibration process and manage collection and analysis of changes as well as sign-offs by group

Analyze the job family groups, job families and career levels to report on internal and external alignment by business groups

Conduct various analyses as needed to support the People Partners in finalizing the calibration of employees into new job architecture

Conduct market benchmarking to pressure test newly developed salary structures and support the pay architecture validation process

Compile employee impact analyses and presentations to finalize salary structures
-
Assist in documenting job evaluation processes to ensure cross-organizational fairness and consistency in aligning job descriptions to the new job architecture

Assist in documenting the governance process for ongoing management of the new job architecture
-
May get involved in Workday testing of new salary structures

May assist with developing change management content to provide education and help implement new ways of working with the new job and pay architectures
About you:

You have very strong data analysis skills

We’d love it if you also had:

You have played a key role on a career framework/job architecture project and have a strong understanding of what’s involved in this work

You have experience as a compensation Specialist or comparable role and have done job evaluations, market benchmarking, salary surveys, etc.

Successful completion of a college degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or Economics is preferred.

Working toward or completed Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

Experience using Workday HRIS
-
Experience using Payfactors
-
Previous experience in job evaluation in medium to large, complex organizations, preferably in the music/entertainment industry

Experience using Google Workspace, especially Sheets, Slides, Docs and Gemini

Salary Range
$45.00 to $50.00 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
